That\u2019s why this city feels less like another thing and more like a living thing. \u00a0An entity. \u00a0Because no matter what season it is, the wind is always angry. \u00a0Vicious. \u00a0Acting out like a\u00a0tempestuous\u00a0child. \u00a0It has its grubby hands on everything, pushing over empty cans and sending loose trash into hand-springs\u00a0and\u00a0somersaults. \u00a0It gives them brief bits of life, little angry spurts of acrobatics. \u00a0You pull the trees into a frenzy. \u00a0Madmen, waving their arms and trying desperately to get your attention. \u00a0To tell you something. \u00a0Or maybe not. \u00a0Maybe they have nothing to say, but just want to touch. \u00a0To reach out and grasp you, limbs waving and yearning and\u00a0stretching. \u00a0The wind turns them into horny beasts. \u00a0Looking to fondle every passersby. \u00a0But we don\u2019t look at you how you want or look back to see if you\u2019re still watching. \u00a0We shrug off your glances, brush away your reach, and duck under your waving desperation. \u00a0 Because to stop and grab your hand would be acknowledging your presence. \u00a0Taking part in your sick possession.<\/p>\n
